Korean food that you eat with your eyes first

Colorful, beautifully plated dishes made for the camera.

These are desserts and drinks that are good to choose when you want to take a short break in an unfamiliar city and leave with a photo, too. They work well after a meal to refresh your palate, during a brief cafe stop, or when you need something cold and sweet while walking on a hot day. They are easy to enjoy even after strongly flavored Korean food, and when served on a small plate or in a clear glass, their colors and textures stand out clearly.

These foods are generally sweet, aromatic, and visually distinctive, with elements such as ice, fruit, rice grains, and dried persimmon. Sikhye gives a neat, clean impression, with rice grains floating in a clear rice drink. Sujeonggwa has a strong impression of a Korean dessert, with cinnamon and ginger aromas plus dried persimmon. Strawberry Bingsu has a vivid contrast of red strawberries, white shaved ice, and condensed milk, making it good to share as well.
